Japanese Water Diet

 

  • Drink two mugs (640 ml) warm/hot water first thing in the morning.
  • Do not eat or drink anything else for 45 minutes.
  • When you eat food only have warm drinks not cold with it.
  • Once you've finished eating do not eat or drink anything for two hours after.

 

First thing in the morning, before cleaning the teeth drink 2 cups of warm water, you will know the right temperature to suit you. Do not add anything other than water this is all that the cells and gut need. By adding anything else you will take away from the practice. The exact measurement of water is 640ml but I feel that we need not be to exact since the size of people vary.

Do not then eat drink or imbibe anything for 45 minutes. You may then eat whatever you like but do not drink cold drinks whenever you are eating. It's fine to drink warm drinks at mealtime but not cold. Once you have decided you finished eating, glance at the clock and do not eat or drink anything for two hours to allow the system to digest the meal you've just had.

Apparently the Japanese say that drinking cold fluids during or shortly after mealtimes cools the fat within the food and allows it to deposit and build up on the lining of the gut. Over a longer period of time this begins to silt up areas of the gut which in turn poisons the blood system. From what I gather the Japanese have these various claims for good health if you follow this Japanese water diet for the number of days shown to cure/control/reduce the following diseases;

  • High blood pressure – 30 days.
  • Gastric – 10 days.
  • Diabetes – 30 days.
  • Constipation – 10 days.
  • Cancer – 180 days.
  • TB – 90 days.
  • Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment for three days and from the second week onwards daily

Personally I am not a dietician and have seen no scientific evidence to prove these claims listed above. However I have begun following this diet myself as it appears logical and feel personally, within a few weeks some form of cleansing of the bowel is occurring and there seems to be a degree less of inflammation in my system. I believe it to be a practice worth trying simply to see what sort of outcome it has on your current condition.
